Governor signs bill for proposed bonds
On Thursday, October 22 Governor Pat McCrory and other honored guests visited UNC Charlotte for a ceremonial signing of a bill that will allow the state to vote on the $2B Connect NC bond package, which includes $90M for UNC Charlotte to construct a new science building that will house the Chemistry Department. The bond issue will be on the NC primary ballot on March 15, 2016.
