Clariant Chancellor’s Scholarship in Chemistry
This scholarship was established in 1996 through a generous endowment from Clairant, Inc. It is intended to attract and support entering chemistry majors with potential for high academic achievement. Awardees can expect a continuation of their scholarship up to four years if they maintain high standards in the Bachelor of Science curriculum. The scholarship is also available to current UNC Charlotte BS chemistry majors on a one-year basis with the possibility of renewal.

Entering freshmen or transfer students: SAT score over 1900 and Declared BS Chemistry Major UNC Charlotte BS Chemistry majors: Cumulative GPA over 3.50 |
| Application | Applications are submitted through NinerScholar before March 1. A resume is required along with a letter of reference from a high school science or math instructor (Entering freshmen) or a chemistry instructor (UNC Charlotte and Transfer students) |
